A delicious oaky Chardonnay. Ambrosia to my palate.

Very aromatic with expressive bouquets of exotic fruit, sweet Asian pear, yellow apple, wild flower honey, crème brûlée, fresh ginger, and floral blossom. Elegant and textured, there’s no question this comes from some of the finest vineyards in the Niagara region. Impressive minerality and golden delicious apple shine bright on the palate complemented with a subtle nuttiness and fresh baked pastries. There’s a very pleasant and light creaminess which is balanced by the elegant and refreshing structure showing its cool-climate heritage that makes this complex Chardonnay a great wine for enjoying with fine meals and equally suited for enjoying casually with friends on the patio. Drink 2018-2022. Tasted January 2018. 90+ points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca

This pours moderate lemon-gold - a bit more mature than expected. It has a quite toasty, nutty and spicy nose from French oak barrel ageing. Fruit is in the realm of peach pie. It is medium to full bodied, fleshy and warm on the palate, with considerable oak throughout contributing to a nutmeg and cedary finish. Acidity is moderate; the length is very good to excellent. Tasted April 2019, 88 Points.

This Chardonnay is sourced from some of the very best vineyard sites in Niagara — including the Le Clos Jordanne Vineyard. It has a gorgeous nose of poached pear, ripe apple, citrus accents and minerality with butterscotch and spice. It’s round and full-flavoured on the palate with baked apple, pear, touches of tropical fruits and citrus with a range of cream and spice to go with lovely texture and balancing acidity. 92 Points
